Q: What is the difference between Muslim Harmony and other marriage/dating sites?

A: Our websites focus is on match making according to compatibility rather than letting people aimlessly browse through profiles and mostly just pictures. Q: Why is the questionnaire so detailed?

A: We purposely designed a lengthy detailed questionnaire to best determine the personality traits and figure out what type of person would be most compatible for them as a life partner. Our overall personality grid is divided into seven major compatibility portions which we determined with thousands of hours of research and experience. These grids have a great effect on marriages and relationships. Therefore to reach our ultimate goal of creating a strong foundation for families we need to start with a strong foundation of a compatible husband and wife.

Q: How secure is MuslimHarmony?

A: Muslim Harmony is completely safe and secure. We protect all your contact information until you decide to release it yourself. All our payments are processed through PayPal which is one of the most secure online payment systems in the world.

Q: How do I best view the site?

A: MuslimHarmony is best viewed using the latest Internet Explorer browser or Firefox.

Q: What happens to my Membership after it expires?

A: Once your membership expires your membership status automatically converts to "expired" status and you lose all actionable benefits of your membership. You can simply renew your membership by clicking on “My Membership” and you can select any package you like.

Q: How do I pay for a membership?

A: We currently accept payments via PayPal through our site. PayPal accepts all major credit cards and if you have a PayPal account you can make your payments through your account as well.

Q: I forgot my Password?

A: You could retrieve your Password by clicking on “Forgot Password” link on the home page.

Q: How do I change my Password?

A: You can change your password by clicking on “Profile Settings” and enter your old password and then your new password.

A: Simply go to “Upload a Photo” section.

Q: How do I post a video and what type of videos should I post?

A: All videos are to be posted on your private channel or account via YouTube. You can then upload your YouTube link to our site to allow your Active List users to view the video. The video should be appropriate and it should provide an insight into your personality. We recommend you talk about your priorities and discuss your thoughts about marriage. You can discuss your top goals and most important values in life.

Q: How do you monitor the Site?

A: Any updates done by any member of the site is monitored and viewed by our staff. All communication is flagged as well if any inappropriate language is used.

Q: What can I do if another member behaves inappropriately?

A: If you encounter anything inappropriate from any other member on our site please click on “Report Abuse” and notify us immediately. Provide us the time, date and the concern you have so we can address the matter swiftly.

Q: How often will I receive matches?

A: Matches are provided as soon as we have a compatible match for you. Our system is generating matches on a continuous basis.

Q: How does the Message Centre Work?

A: It’s a very user friendly interface that anyone can use who has ever used email. We have also provided Pre-Made Messages that are thoughtful questions to ask from other prospective matches. You can only communicate with people that you have provided full profile access to.

Q: If I am very specific in my locality will it affect the number of matches I receive?

A: The more specific you are about what you are looking for in terms of ethnicity, age, height, locality etc. will highly determine the amount of matches you will receive. You should be very careful in selecting the most important things in this portion of the profile.

Q: Can anyone use the Advice Central portion of the site?

A: Advice Central is created for the use of not only members but anyone who would like to benefit from it. The site is a good resource for all people whether they are married, have a family or are looking to get married. We have a strong team working for the sake of Allah to benefit people in creating strong families within the Muslim Community.

Q: How do I close my Account?

A: You can close your account anytime by clicking on “Profile Settings” and click on “Close my Account”.

Q: I am having some technical difficulties on the site; what should I do?

A: Please click on “Contact Us” and email us your concern and we will respond back to you as soon as possible.

Q: How is the Wali/Guardian involved in the Process?

A: If Wali/Guardian information is provided to us in the sign up process they are copied on all major activities by the profile they are linked to. They are aware of all the active matches and they can also get access to full communication files for up to 30 days.

Q: Can I make changes to my Profile after originally creating it the first time?

A: Any updates can be done if you sign in and click on “My Profile” to make any necessary changes. You can also change some of your primary search criteria’s.

Q: Can you explain My Matches section of the Site?

A: There are 8 total sub-sections in your My Matches Page and they are as follows:

1. Pending Matches – These are all matches that you received and you didn’t commit any action on these matches. They are basically ignored matches until you decide to request access from them.

2. Active List – These are all matches that you Requested Profiles for and now you have access to view their Picture, Video Link and Communicate with them through our Message Centre.

3. My Requests – This section shows you all the Profiles you have requested full access to so that you can communicate with them and view their picture and video. As long as the other party doesn’t do any action your request stays in this basket.

4. Who is Requesting Me – These are all the members that are requesting your full Profile which will allow them full access to your pictures, videos and they will be able to communicate with you.

5. My Declines – These are all the Profile Requests you declined to share your pictures, video and communicate with. This person can never request full access from you until you decide to initiate the process yourself and request that person’s profile.

6. Whose Declined Me – This section of the site shows you the members that declined your request for accessing their full profile. You cannot engage in any further requests with this member unless that member initiates a Request from you.

7. My Block List – These are all the members that you blocked once you provided them access to your full Profile. When you block them you have stopped full communication, video and picture access to them. You can reverse this option but the other party who is blocked cannot engage in any activity with you.

8. Whose Blocked Me – These are all the members that have blocked your access to their full Profile and you will not be able to communicate or view their picture or video.
